Mozambican President appoints envoys for Geneva, Kigali
Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi has appointed Amadeu Paulo Samuel da Conceição to the position of permanent representative to the United Nations in Geneva and ambassador to the Swiss Confederation, the government said on Tuesday.In a statement, the government said da Conceição is replacing Pedro Afonso whose term of office has come to an end.
Da Conceição was previously ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Germany, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
The statement did not say who da Conceição’s replacement will be in the three country.
Nyusi also appointed Mónica Patrício Clemente Mussa to the post of high commissioner to Rwanda.
