Rwanda Labor Ministry, U.S Embassy commend Outcomes of USAID Funded HUGUKA Dukore Project

Rwanda’s Minister of Labor and Public Services has commended the outcomes of USAID funded Huguka Dukore Akazi Kanoze Project.
Minister Kayirangwa Rwanyindo F. made the remark during the USAID Huguka Dukore Akazi Kanoze Youth Summit 2019 which took place on Friday 15th November, 2019 in Kigali.
During the summit, youth shared their experiences, challenges, successes, and recommendations towards attaining employment opportunities.
To date, USAID Huguka Dukore Akazi Kanoze has trained over 30,000 Rwandan youth across 25 districts in entrepreneurship, and technical skills.
The Youth Summit 2019 is a culmination of 3 regional events that took place in October 2019 in Kayonza, Nyanza, and Rubavu Districts.
This year’s Youth Summit is graced by Honorable Minister of Labor and Public Services, alongside His Excellence, the Ambassador of the United States of America in Rwanda, USAID Mission Director, Vice President of Education Development Center (EDC), youth delegates, government officials, development partners and private sector representatives.
