As the year 2021 is ending, the U.S. President Joseph Biden praises the fact that in the 11 months in office, much has been done, especially about 6 million new jobs created.
Before mentioning that “America is on the move”, President Biden wrote on his twitter that within 11 months, Nearly 6 million new jobs were created and this is the record for a new president.
He added that the U.S Unemployment rate down to 4.2% — three years ahead of predictions.
President Biden mentions that Applications for new small businesses in the United states is up to 30% – The fastest economic growth in nearly 40 years.
“When I came into office, our economy was in crisis. But over the last 11 months, we’ve added nearly 6 million jobs. That’s the largest increase in recorded history.
“Last year at this time, there were 823,000 Americans filing new jobless claims each week. This last week, that number was less than 200,000. That’s historic progress.” President Biden announced on Thursday.
Joe Biden was inaugurated as the 46th president of the United States on January 20, 2021, marking the start of the four-year term of Joe Biden as president and Kamala Harris as vice president.
In March, 2021, the White House released a statement that highlighted the need to reimagine and rebuild a new American economy.
Under Biden-Harris administration, the American Jobs Plan is an investment in America that will create millions of good jobs, rebuild the country’s infrastructure, and position the United States to out-compete China.
On Wednesday, Biden told American Citizens that “We’re ending 2021 with what one analyst described as the strongest first-year economic track record of any president in the last 50 years. Let’s keep the progress going.”
