AgroPlast campaigns for Sustainable Cooking Solutions in Rwanda

AgroPlast, in partnership with Practical Action, is leading an initiative to promote the use of Energy Saving Cookstoves in refugee camps in Rwanda, including Kiziba Refugee camp. These cookstoves are designed to be more efficient and environmentally friendly, reducing fuel consumption and harmful emissions.

As part of their efforts, AgroPlast conducted an awareness campaign in Kiziba camp to educate refugees and the host community on the benefits of using Energy Saving Cookstoves. By partnering with Practical Action, AgroPlast is able to provide training and support to ensure the cookstoves are used effectively and maintained properly.

In addition to the refugee camps, AgroPlast also showcased their IGISUBIZO clean cooking solutions during an Open Day event in Karongi District.

The IGISUBIZO Cookstove is a revolutionary product that utilizes solar energy for clean cooking without any smoke emissions, promoting healthy living and environmental conservation.
