Chorale de Kigali Looks Forward to Welcoming Mrs. Jeannette Kagame at Their Upcoming Concert

The Chorale de Kigali, which is scheduled to hold a concert this weekend, expressed their gratitude to Mrs. Jeannette Kagame for attending their previous performance. They sincerely hope to see her again at this upcoming event.
Titled “Voices in Harmony Concert,” the event will take place this Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Kigali Universe, located in the city center.
Hodari Jean Claude, the director of Chorale de Kigali, shared his heartfelt gratitude, saying he has no words to fully thank Mrs. Kagame for attending their last concert at the end of 2024.
He stated, “Seeing the First Lady’s family at our concert is a source of great happiness for us. The way we are received shows the love and support for what we do. Whether in church or at concerts, it’s clear that people love our music. Even the First Lady’s household appreciates it — I’m truly speechless.”
He further expressed the choir’s appreciation and their hope that Mrs. Kagame will participate again in this upcoming concert. “We thanked her, and she knows it. We’ve invited her, and we hope that next time, the entire family will attend because we believe we’ve prepared something that everyone in this country will enjoy,” he added.
This concert, organized by Chorale de Kigali, is part of the global celebration of International Music Day, observed each year on June 21. The choir mentioned that attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about the history of traditional music, enriching their understanding of cultural heritage.
