‎Tour du Rwanda 2026: SPIRO Rwanda Rewards the Second Best Rwandan Rider



‎Masengesho Vainqueur, who rides for Benediction Banafrica Team, was awarded a Spiro motorcycle after emerging as the best-performing Rwandan rider in Stage Eight of the Tour du Rwanda, from Musanze to Kigali, covering a distance of 147.2 kilometers.

‎The stage was raced this Saturday and won by 20-year-old Brazilian rider Bravo Ribeiro, who competes for Soudal Quick-Step Development Team. He crossed the finish line at Kigali Pele Stadium with a time of three hours, 20 minutes, and 59 seconds.



‎The best-performing Rwandan rider was Masengesho Vainqueur of Benediction Banafrica Team, who finished in 16th place, 30 seconds behind the stage winner.

‎This performance earned him a motorcycle awarded by Spiro Rwanda.

‎Muhoza Eric, who was the standout Rwandan rider in Stage Six of the 2026 Tour du Rwanda, finishing 8th in the stage from Rubavu to Musanze (84 km), was the first Rwandan cyclist to receive a motorcycle from Spiro Rwanda.

‎The 2026 Tour du Rwanda concludes this Sunday, March 1, 2026, with the final stage, where riders will race an 83.8-kilometer circuit around Kigali starting at 1:00 PM.
