GUANGZHOU, CHINA — MAY 2026 — SANY Heavy Industry (600031.SH; 0631.HK), a global leader in high-end equipment manufacturing, has released its 2025 Sustainability (ESG) Report, underscoring its resilience amidst complex global trade dynamics. The report emphasizes enhanced governance, accelerated decarbonization, and radical supply chain transparency, as SANY works to align with the rigorous expectations of global stakeholders, particularly in European and North American markets.

1The company is strategically navigating the evolving trade landscape, including anti-dumping and anti-subsidy frameworks, by advancing its “Globalization of Manufacturing” strategy. This shift from “product export” to “Industrial Globalization” has proven successful, with international revenue now accounting for 64% of total turnover. SANY has achieved a full-value-chain global deployment—spanning R&D, manufacturing, and service—by deepening overseas localized production in hubs across India, the USA, Germany, Indonesia, and Brazil. This deployment aims to ensure compliant operations and fair competition within local legal frameworks.

Electrification Drives Growth and Low-Carbon Innovation

Electrification remains a core growth engine for SANY. In 2025, revenue from new energy products reached RMB 8.64 billion. The company has deployed a wide range of green equipment globally, including electric excavators and hydrogen-powered trucks, actively addressing climate risks and supporting global “Dual Carbon” goals by fostering green supply chain synergy and upgrading products.

1Beyond products, the company is fortifying its operational integrity and global team. SANY reported 100% coverage of anti-corruption audits for core business processes. Furthermore, its focus on localized talent cultivation resulted in the localization rate of overseas employees reaching nearly 70% in 2025, contributing to a globally competitive team of professionals.

1The report also details SANY’s focus on Digitalization and AI Governance. Leveraging its “Lighthouse Factory” network and proprietary AI Agent platform, the firm is transitioning to “comprehensive value-chain intelligence”. Digital tools facilitate real-time monitoring of production processes and carbon footprints, providing verifiable governance data to global stakeholders.

1Mr. Xiang Wenbo, Chairman of SANY Heavy Industry, reaffirmed the company’s long-term vision, stating, “We remain committed to long-termism, guided by our strategies of ‘Globalization, Digitalization, and Decarbonization.’ By driving industrial progress through innovation, SANY contributes to building a greener and more sustainable world”.
