PHOTOS: Kagame hold talks with Emmanuel Macron in New York

The French president Emmanuel Macron has had bilateral talks with his Rwandan counterpart, Paul Kagame, President of the African Union.

The two men, on Tuesday, 25th September 2018, discuss the African issues and the 17th Francophonie summit to be held on October 11 and 12 in Yerevan, Armenia.

President Kagame and Emmanuel Macron are in New York for the UN General Assembly.

During their Meeting, Kagame was accompanied by Rwanda’s Foreign Affairs Minister Louise Mushikiwabo and State Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Olivier Nduhungirehe.

Macron also was accompanied by high officials in the French Government.

President Kagame and Macron have decided to jointly work together to normalize the two countries friendship once destroyed by the French Government role in the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi.
