Rwanda: Local TVET School taps into Water Management through Waste Water Treatment Education

Education today must be education that provides solutions to the challenges of our society.

Among these challenges are environmental issues, climate effects, misuse of water resources among others.

As the population continues to grow, the need for a significant amount of clean water will require much more efforts than the previous. But again, the society has solutions to at least reduce the high demand for water for its own people and the thirsty nature.

First solution is to know “how we can better use the water resources we have today?” How can the water we have serve nature and our needs?

For the sustainable solution, at Don Bosco Gatenga Technical and Vocational Education School, the educational system has added the Water and Wastewater Treatment course among the courses offered in the Plumbing Department.
