Rwandan Government Denies Alleged Talks with Israel on Transfer of Palestinians from Gaza

Kigali, Rwanda – The Government of Rwanda has strongly refuted claims made by Israeli news outlet ZmanYisrael regarding talks between Rwanda and Israel on the transfer of Palestinians from Gaza.

In a statement released today, the Rwandan government labeled the allegations as “completely false” and urged the public to disregard the disinformation.

The Israeli news outlet had recently wrote in its key points that Israel is ‘in talks with Rwanda and Chad’ to receive Palestinians and later on Twitter (X), the other outlet name Middle East Eye posted that “Israeli officials are in secret talks with Rwanda and Chad to receive Palestinians from Gaza,” Quoting  the Israeli daily, Zman Yisrael.

However, the Rwandan government vehemently denied any such talks, stating that no discussions had occurred either presently or in the past.

“The Government of Rwanda notes disinformation published by ZmanYisrael, an Israeli news outlet, alleging talks between Rwanda and Israel on the transfer of Palestinians from Gaza. This is completely false,” read the official statement. “No such discussion has taken place either now or in the past, and the disinformation should be ignored.”

Rwanda has long been recognized for its commitment to peace and stability in the region, and it has played an active role in humanitarian efforts. However, the government emphasized that it has not engaged in any negotiations or agreements related to resettlement programs for Palestinians.

As tensions continue to rise in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, false rumors and misinformation can exacerbate the situation, leading to further instability.
