UGHE-Rwanda Welcomes Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity to Explore Global Health Challenges

The University of Global Health Equity Rwanda (UGHE) recently welcomed the 2024 Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity cohort to its stunning Butaro Campus for their Mid-Year Convening.
The diverse group of 16 emerging leaders from around the world gathered to strengthen their understanding of health equity and explore Rwanda’s healthcare system.
During their time at UGHE, the fellows engaged in interactive classroom teaching and experiential learning, delving deep into the complexities of global health.
They visited local health centers and Butaro hospital, witnessing firsthand how community health workers provide quality care for all members of the community.
UGHE takes immense pride in watching these passionate individuals address challenges within their own communities and beyond.
By fostering a deeper understanding of health equity, UGHE and the Atlantic Fellows are working towards building a brighter, healthier future for everyone.
