Rayon Sports Close to Signing Ugandan Striker Bayo Aziz Fahad
Rayon Sports FC is on the brink of finalizing a deal with Ugandan forward Bayo Aziz Fahad. The 26-year-old, a free agent since leaving Czech second-division club MFK Vyškov five months ago, was previously linked to APR FC before they opted for other signings.
Bayo Aziz is expected to join Rayon Sports on a six-month contract, adding significant firepower to their attacking lineup. A key player for the Uganda National Team, he recently scored one goal in four appearances during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
In his earlier career, Bayo Aziz shone with Vipers SC, scoring 15 goals in 24 matches during the 2019/2020 season and helping secure the Ugandan Premier League title and Super Cup.
If the deal goes through, he will bolster Rayon Sports’ offense alongside star forward Fall Ngagne. Rayon Sports, currently leading the Rwanda Premier League with 36 points, aims to solidify its dominance in the second half of the season.
