Transforming Medical Education in Africa: Experts to Convene in Kigali, Rwanda for Landmark Conference

Kigali, Rwanda – March 24-25^th, 2025; Africa has started the long journey of transforming its medical education, and all roads lead to Kigali this March 24-25, 2025, for the inaugural Advancing Medical Education in Africa Conference (MedEdAfrica). Hosted at the Kigali Convention Centre, this first edition will convene leading medical educators, leaders, students, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and partners in a shared mission: to revolutionize medical education and shape the future of healthcare on the continent. The conference will also catalyze the formation of Africa’s first continental consortium of Medical Schools.

With a dynamic lineup of keynote speakers, interactive panel discussions, and groundbreaking research presentations, MedEdAfrica 2025 will serve as a platform for innovation and collaboration. Attendees will explore forward-thinking strategies, cutting-edge technologies, and transformative education models to equip Africa’s healthcare workforce for the future under the main theme “Innovation in Medical Education Practices”.
