World Government Summit Kicks Off in Dubai

More than 6,000 leaders, ministers, CEOs and experts from around the world have started arriving in Dubai for the World Government Summit scheduled for February 3-4.
35 heads of state, 150 governments and 500 ministers confirmed attendance of the Dubai summit.
They will be discussing the future of governance and public policy. The summit will be guided by the theme, “Shaping Future Governments.”
The 2026 edition according to organizers will be the biggest and most global edition since the Summit began in 2013.
Discussions will focus on health, new technologies, social welfare, sustainable development, and strategies for improving quality of life.
The summit also will feature a series of high-level forums on artificial intelligence, education, mobility, sustainability and economic resilience.
For the first time, it will also host the World Laureates Summit, involving Nobel Prize winners and leading scientists directly in major policy debates.
“Launched in the UAE with a global reach, the World Governments Summit was guided by the leadership’s vision to become a global platform where practical solutions, new ideas and impactful partnerships take shape,” His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the WGS, said speaking at the previous World Governments Summit Dialogue.
