AFC/M23 Graduate Over 1500 Mobile Special Forces

The AFC/M23 have showcased over 1518 newly trained Commandos that will join the Mobile Special Forces unit.

According to Lawrence Kanyuka, the spokesperson for the rebel movement, the newly trained 1518 members of the Mobile Special Forces of the Congolese Revolutionary Army (ARC) successfully completed their training on Monday, March 2, in Rumangabo, in North Kivu Province.

The pass out ceremony was chaired by Major General Sultani Makenga, the Chief of Staff of the ARC and Military Coordinator of the AFC/M23.

“Now fully operational, these new commandos stand ready to serve, defend, and protect civilian populations, victims of the war imposed by the Kinshasa regime,” Kanyuka said in a statement.

Kanyuka had earlier on March 3rd noted that the the AFC/M23 forces are fully mobilized to ensure the defense and protection of civilian populations. They are acting with determination, discipline, and a sense of patriotic duty.
