Rwanda Launches 2026 Mountain Gorilla Rally

Kigali, Rwanda — Organizers officially unveiled the Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Rally 2026 on Wednesday at Zaria Court, confirming the popular international motorsport event as round four of the FIA African Rally Championship.
Several competitive entries were showcased, including a Ford Fiesta crewed by Sachania Nikhil and Patel Deep, a Skoda Fabia R5 driven by Karan Patel and Khan Tauseef, a Subaru Impreza for Kalimpinya Queen and Ngabo Olivier, and a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X with Ntambi Oscar and Luggya Pius.
The three-day gravel rally, backed by BPR Bank among other sponsors, is set to start on Friday, July 10, and conclude on Sunday, July 12, drawing competitors from multiple nations to Rwanda’s challenging stages.
