Belgium Donates 40 Ambulances to Rwanda
KIGALI, 24 September 2020: Rwanda’s Ministry of Health has received 40 ambulances from the Kingdom of Belgium, through the Belgium Development Agency to boost access to healthcare services. The handover ceremony took place at the Rwanda Biomedical Centre headquarters.
The Minister of Health Dr. Daniel Ngamije who officially received the 40 ambulances, took the opportunity to recognize the support of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Government of Rwanda and particulary to the health sector in contributing to its efforts to improve access to primary healthcare.
