Umurungi Michelle appointed Norrsken East Africa Deputy Managing Director

The Norrsken East Africa has announced Umurungi Michelle as its new Deputy Managing Director.

She has been the company’s Partnerships Manager, where she excelled.

According to the company’s announcement, Michelle will continue to coordinate the hub as it aims to reach the goal of creating a flourishing environment for entrepreneurs.

Seven months ago, when appointed Partnership Manager, Umurungi said at the time that Norrsken is a gamechanger hence she was taking the drivers seat.

She said “I knew Norrsken would be a game changer. Joining the team was a unique opportunity to have a drivers seat in the accelerated success of entrepreneurs in our region.”

Norrsken East Africa is part of the Norrsken Foundation. It is a non-profit foundation built on the belief that entrepreneurs building rapidly scalable businesses can help solve some of the greatest challenges facing the world today.

The Organization believes in technology as an important tool for solving problems more efficiently, and strives to create an environment that enables entrepreneurs to do as much good as possible. With Norrsken House in Kigali, its vision is to create the largest hub for entrepreneurs in Africa.

The Kigali House is a place where education, innovation and entrepreneurship will join to generate scalable growth and development both in Kigali and beyond.
