IUCN Rwanda Country Representative Joins Global Leaders in Zambia for Nature-based Solutions Conference

The IUCN Rwanda Country Representative, Ms. Kaori Yasuda, is joining global leaders in Zambia for the Accelerating Nature-based Solutions (NbS) Conference from the 11th to the 15th of March, 2024. The conference aims to provide a platform for stakeholders to collaborate and strategize on delivering solutions that harness the power of nature.

IUCN Rwanda has been at the forefront of implementing various Nature-based Solutions initiatives, which have shown great success and may serve as a lesson to other African countries.

The conference will provide an opportunity for effective collaboration among stakeholders, allowing them to plan and contribute directly to delivering solutions that benefit both people and nature.

One of the key topics to be discussed at the conference is Global NbS Perspectives, where participants will share successes and best practices from their respective countries. This exchange of knowledge and experiences is expected to lead to innovative solutions that can be applied globally.

Ms. Kaori Yasuda’s participation in the conference highlights IUCN Rwanda’s commitment to nature conservation and sustainable development.
