President Tshisekedi Tried To Bribe M23 Colonel In Doha

President Felix Tshisekedi of DRC is alleged to have offered an unspecified large sum of money to a senior officer of the M23 rebel movement, Taarifa investigative Desk has established.
It has emerged that Colonel Imani Nzenze a member of the M23 delegation to the Doha Peace Talks was bribed with Dollars but he bluntly refused to take the bribe.
“President Tshisekedi has a grand plan to weaken the armed rebel movement by seeking to create a pro-government faction, but this high-ranking AFC/M23 officer resisted the greenbucks that were offered,” a source said.

The Doha Peace deal addresses the root causes of the conflict. It also opens the door to further negotiations on issues including restoring state authority, governance reforms and the return of displaced civilians.
However, the ceasefire commitment agreed to by both parties in July last year has been continuously violated.
Benjamin Mbonimpa that represents the M23 delegation in Doha says the agreement contains “no binding clauses” and would not change “the situation on the ground”.
