French higher education looks to Africa again
National research funder launches second call for Franco-African collaboration
France has announced a second call for projects under its Partnerships with African Higher Education (PEA) programme aimed at developing deeper links with sub-Saharan countries.
The PEA programme has a €20 million budget for 2022 and seeks to expand higher education in Africa, as well as support French higher education institutions in developing partnerships. In addition, the programme supports movement of students and teachers between French and African institutions.
