Kigali Gears Up for Cutting-Edge Discussions at the 6th World Congress on Agroforestry

KIGALI, 10th May, 2025 – Leading experts, farmers, researchers, policymakers, and representatives from across the globe will converge in Kigali, Rwanda from October 20-24, 2025, for the 6th World Congress on Agroforestry.

Under the theme “Agroforestry for People, Planet & Profit,” the congress promises a vibrant exchange of the latest research, innovations, and best practices in the field, all aimed at fostering sustainable and resilient agro-ecosystems.

The congress serves as a critical international platform for stakeholders to connect, share knowledge, and collaborate on the advancement of agroforestry systems. It will address the critical role of these systems in natural resource management, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and ultimately, improving livelihoods worldwide.
