Rubavu: President Kagame Emphasizes RPF Principles in Campaign Rally
In a campaign rally that took place on Sunday, 23rd June, 2024 in Rubavu District, President Kagame, the presidential candidate for RPF-led coalition, reiterated the importance of the party’s principles in leading Rwanda.
President Kagame emphasized that there are no principles beyond those of the RPF to effectively lead the nation. He stated, “Both those who hate Rwanda, and those who believe otherwise, return to these three principles: Unity, Democracy, and Development.”
He highlighted that these principles are essential for leading Rwanda and gaining acceptance from its citizens. President Kagame emphasized, “We are all fighting for these principles. Whether RPF, all the people who are supporting the RPF, all Rwandans, that’s what we aim for, that’s what we want to achieve at a high level.”
Looking ahead to the upcoming election, he urged voters to support unity, democracy, and development on the 15th of next month.
President Kagame also stressed the importance of taking action to achieve these goals, stating, “You Can’t just sit and sing it or just say it in words, if you don’t act, you can’t achieve anything.”
He emphasized that the collective effort is needed and encourages all Rwandans, both within the country and abroad, to take actions that align with the RPF principles.
